Milagro House has been transforming the lives of women & children facing homelessness in Lancaster, PA for a quarter centurty through education, housing & life skills training.
Milagro House opens its doors to all qualified homeless women & their children,
regardless of their age, race, religious affiliation, or sexual preference.
Our program is for women who are expecting, have custody of their children,
or are in the process of regaining custody of their children.
(Please note: boys over twelve years old may not reside at Milagro House.)
Making miracles possible through housing, education & skills training
Women usually show up at Milagro House without the skills and resources they need to thrive. At Milagro House, our women & their children live in safe comfortable housing, have support to finish their degrees and learn needed skills to live on their own to create futures where they & their families thrive.
Education – the Key to Life
Milagro House helps their women complete a GED or post-secondary education. We match a woman’s aptitude and her passion with an educational track that leads to a satisfying career path and a job that pays a living wage.

Many of our women come to us not having access to the training they need to thrive. At Milagro House, our women recieve counseling and learn financial, nutritional parenting, childrehood development, conflict management skills & more.
